A 131-track custom radio based on the Friends Legend friendly FO4 playlist

The packaged random play moderator file and the replacement esp file that removes the random play are uploaded together, and you can choose to install them according to your needs.

Radioland AM is my (original author TheSpiralArchitect, the same below) fourth and largest (and hopefully most fully implemented) radio module to date. I wanted to make a bigger mod and I knew a friend of mine made a pretty awesome playlist for her FO4 game, so I decided to turn it into a full radio station. In many ways, it's just an expansion of what you already get from DCR, or from awesome mods like More Where That Comes From. The station is independent but should have the same overall tone, featuring many of the same artists, the same genres, and songs from the same eras. There is a bit of overlap with the base game as it comes from an external playlist.

I have both an unscripted, non-random version, and a randomized version. This time, I used the same shuffling method Bethesda uses for their stations, so my FOLON station should be less prone to weirdness before I get out their scripts. It only tracks the last five songs played, so it's possible to hear the sound again after another five tracks. I didn't notice too much repetition, though, because there are so many tracks. However, your mileage may vary!

The full track list is in the articles section.

I have three other radio station mods that I uploaded for Fallout London but now work in regular Fallout 4 as well

Radio Owt: 100 tracks from British, Welsh, Scottish and Northern Irish musicians, the same as those found on FO4

Merseybeat Sound Radio: 40 tracks from the pre-British Invasion beat explosion

MeekAM: 22 tracks produced or written by renowned British producer Joe Meek

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
