R91 independent assault rifle

sound

There are now fully custom gun sounds, they're not perfect but they definitely give it some variety. This wouldn't be possible without user philip92dk's excellent guidance, so be sure to express your gratitude his way! The sound itself is from 7.62 FAL, a big thanks to CevCon for the sound (I know he plays FO4, if you're out there I'd love to hear from you!)

Magazine

There are two new magazines available, a "Wasteland Rigged" Quick Mag and a large Mag Mag. As the names suggest, fast mags increase reload speed, and drums increase ammo capacity. I also edited the magnets on the gun to give a better looking reload.

muzzle

There are some exciting new things here, introducing a barrel torch and a laser sight. Both are very interesting and the Light functions perfectly, but the laser is more of a cosmetic option now. Finally includes a bayonet for those who prefer intimacy and individuality. Finally there's the "Infiltrator" loadout, which combines a flashlight, torch and silencer in one deadly package!

Please note: Due to the way the laser sight works, the gun model will appear very far away when viewed on the mold bench or in the inventory, and while it doesn't affect gameplay at all, just expect it to look a little weird. menu!

texture

The texture swapping system has been completely revamped and recoded, adding a whole new class of mods. In the workbench you can select any inventory and any barrel (except integrated silencer) combination and go to the materials category. Once you select the desired material, the entire gun will be re-textured. This really allows you to add the finishing touch to your R91.

This system is quite modular, so I wanted to implement more textures into it. If you have/I know of any I'd like to include them!

ammunition

A second new mod category lets you choose your ammo independently of your recipient!

Auto armor piercing burning round? sure!

Quenching.308 hollow circle? Why not!

Hair trigger for plasma injected tires? I think you should already understand...

There are too many to list here, but you can provide some interesting guns! To select an ammo type, just go to the new mod category and attach it like any other mod!

field

So I think the scope needs improvement, and so do you! The proper scope track looks a bit ridiculous and the new reflective sight is an improvement I think we all want. Also, I've tweaked and modified the Iron-Sights so they finally work properly and they do indicate where the gun will fire!

generally

The handling characteristics of the gun were completely overhauled, it is now controlled during automatic firing and the mods have a real impact on its statistics and performance. It really makes the gun fun to use and customize now, and it feels like the mod has a noticeable effect.

Vibration issues should be mostly sorted as well, unfortunately it's hard to keep track of which ones come into play so occasionally someone will be missed!

Hopefully you'll have fun with all the new content and options. This update will definitely take some time, but it will be worth it! Because this mod does add some new, rarely tested systems to the game, I apologize for any unforeseen glitches
