Quieter generator sound reduces the size of the generator to 10%, 25% or 50% of its original volume. I personally prefer 10%.
Now the sound of your generator idling won't drown out other sounds in your settlement.

Installation instructions:
- Open the Fallout4.ini file found in 'Documents/My Games/Fallout4/Fallout4.ini'.
- Change the line that reads "sResourceDataDirsFinal = STRINGS\" to "sResourceDataDirsFinal = STRINGS\,sound\"
- Unzip the zip file and drag the Data directory of the corresponding folder into the Fallout 4 game directory (finally place a "Sound" folder in the existing Data directory)
