About this mod Machine translation
This mod is a high resolution texture replacer for Protectrons.
Currently, the textures cover Standard (Green), Tan and Blue Protectron as well as Construction, Medical, Police and Fire protection. I will also add the textures covered in the Automatron DLC.
All screenshots were taken while using l00ping's excellent ENB, Photorealistic Commonwealth.
Install
For convenience, you can install using NMM.
Manual installation
- If you haven't done so already, you need to enable Fallout 4 to accept mods.
I recommend following this guide on how to enable FALLOUT 4 MODS
- Select the downloaded mod version: 2K version or 4K version.
- Next you need to extract the texture folder from the archive

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
