FAQ asks: How does this mod work?

Fallout Priority increases the game process priority by calling WinApi SetPriorityClass.

A higher priority can help games compete for the CPU from other processes.

As a result, your games run smoother, more responsive, and with less lag.

Q: Are you working on a previous version of F4SE/VR?

There is no F4SE version check-in plugin.

And the implementation of this module is version independent.

Therefore, it should work on all F4SE/VR versions, even SKSE.

Q: Fallout VR support?

I don't have VR. But it should work just like Skyrim Priority SE AE.

Q: Can you make this mod use the address library so you don't have to update?

Address Library is a great plugin.

But it only works for version-independent game object address searches.

And Fallout Priority does not require interaction with game objects.

So this mod doesn't require it and is already version independent.

Q: Does this mod support Linux operating system? (steam deck)

No, this mod is currently only available for Windows.

Q: So how do I know if this mod works?

After the game starts. You can open the Task Manager by pressing "Ctrl+Shift+Esc". Go to the "Details" tab.

Right-click on "Fallout4.exe/Fallout4VR.exe" and check if the value of "Set Priority" is "High".

If DynamicPriority is turned on in the configuration. It will be BelowNormal because you are not focused on the game window.

After returning to the game, it will return to high.

By default, it is normal to have no software like Mod or Process Lasso.

You should almost never use Realtime because this interrupts the system threads that manage mouse input, keyboard input, and background disk flushing. This class is suitable for applications that "talk" directly to the hardware or perform short tasks that should have limited interruptions.

This mod will also run directly on Skyrim SE/Enderal SE.
