Immersive Cleansing is an underrated mod. It uses the same method that the game developers used to clear the castle after certain militia missions. Each object to be cleaned has an enabled parent, which is set to a marker within the settlement. In order to clean settlements, the mod disables markers, which immediately disables every object to be cleaned. Simple!
By default, the object being cleaned is part of the preview object. Immersive Cleaning regenerates the foreboding, so objects can be cleaned but normal performance is retained. However, there are some issues with the Omen of Regeneration that cause the shelter to have flickering issues.
Previsibines Repair Pack is a project that rebuilds all game precomposed mesh and occlusion (previsualization) information, which by default has many issues. This patch is compatible with PRP 74.6b, which is the currently recommended version if using Fallout 4 Old Gen (1.10.163), and fixes all previsibine bugs found in Immersive Cleaning. I used PJM's Precombine - Previs Patching Scripts to create the patches used to create the PRP itself.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
