Summarize:
A short side quest/unique encounter mod. Just a simple mod that adds a little flavor to an otherwise boring encounter. The sad Marauder is replaced by the explosively angry Brick or the icy monotone Ember. There is no more hostility, there is dialogue, the lover is buried, and revenge is set out. You can kill them or follow them to their destination and watch the scene unfold!
What this MOD does:
- The Sad Raider is now replaced by a randomly selected Raider Boss. Either Brick is angry and loud, or Ember is cold and monotonous.
- They wrote fully voiced dialogue scenes.
- Some dead robbers are scattered on the cemetery.
- The dead robber is now buried. One thing they would say is that if you set foot on the cemetery before she was buried, it would become hostile.
- They left the cemetery to avenge her death.
- Each important character (The Raider, The Decoy, and Captain Wallace [the holotape near him]) has a note that fleshes out some details of the story.
- A short optional mission to follow them to their destination.
What this Mod doesn’t do:
This mod does not add any direct dialogue. They don't want to talk to anyone. They only care about revenge. Annoy them too much and they will become hostile. (Warn before final activation)
They are not companions. Just a mortal, boss-strength friendly raider.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
