Overview
Fallout 76's feature where you can pick up and store power armor frames in their own inventory is cool, isn't it?
feature
Picks up an unowned (or player-owned) Power Armor Frame as an armor item in the inventory.
The frame that triggers the pickup will automatically return to your inventory after 120 seconds, with reminders at 60 and 10 seconds.
Picked up frames will also automatically return to your inventory if you get too far away from them. (~4000 world units.
You can enable or disable the automatic return of any frame by holding down the Shift key and pressing the alternative activation options "State" and "Leave" that appear.
Auto-return is automatically toggled when any Actor enters a Power Armor Frame, or when handling a Power Armor Frame at a Power Armor Station.
Place picked up frames into a special version of the workshop menu to equip or drop them while they are in the inventory.
Frames in the inventory do not stack and are named after the torso parts equipped on them, as well as the total number of armor pieces.
For example, parts with only arms and legs would only be labeled "[4pc]". Equipping the T-45 chest piece changes the name to "[T-45] [5pc]".
Install
Install using the mod manager, it only requires F4SE and the address library.
compatibility
It should be compatible with almost everything unless the mod adds its own extra activation action in the power armor.
The Power Armor name is not read dynamically but is defined by the configuration file in the F4SE/plugins/BakaPowerArmorStorage folder. The base game and all CC (I think) power armor are covered there with examples if you want to make a patch for another mod.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
