Replaced FX0x01's Glock 19x texture with the Porch version, complete with sound effects fixes
As shown in the picture, it is a very happy module that replaces the Glock 19x texture of FX0x01 with the Poch version in Lonely Rock, and comes with sound effect repair.
Front: Glock 19X - Pistol:
Cover the Glock 19X body with this module for use. This doesn't work without prefix.
The brown Glock material will be replaced with the Porch version. If you want a regular Glock skin, just replace the slide with the Agency one model and choose black or gray material. But the characteristics of Porky's skin are still there because they use the same normal map.
Impact accessories include standard magazines and 50-round drum magazines, Osprey suppressor and grips. I may update if more ideas come up.
Sound restoration is optional. Because whether you use black or gray, it's going to be Porky's voice.
I (the original author udaFjx, the same below) admit that I am not very good... let's face it, the textures are terrible, and the normal map is really bad. I'm open to suggestions on whether I can do it, but I can't, and don't want to, create it as a new custom option.
FAQ
- It's too loud.
I agree. I'll find quieter Porky lines whenever I can think of them.
- Does it suck?
I agree. Free software can be slow to load, leaving little time to think about a redesign.
- There is noise other than sound.
Yes, there is. I don't have any audio software that can remove noise from anime clips.
Known issues aka list of things I can't do anything about.
- Third-person reloading now mixes the sounds of reloading and holstering.
- The same problem occurs after reloading from a standard extended magazine.
- Sound fix not working in VATS.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
