describe
This mod increases the frequency with which players react to pain when their arms, legs, or heads are paralyzed (from 3% -> 100%). in combat.
In the extended version, more pain dialogue from torso impacts: coughing, wheezing, difficulty breathing...
NPCs will react to pain, and so will players. Let's get real! We can't pretend that a severed limb is just a few scratches...you get the point.
For this moment, I (original author EngineGaming, the same below) have been waiting for 9 years.
When playing the original game, player reactions were barely noticeable over time. A few times if bruised... 3% feels very rare for Bethesda's immersion.
It's a fun time with mods!
To do this intentionally, inflict damage on yourself with some Molotov cocktails, fall down, get shot...etc. !
For entertainment purposes!

limit
When the torso is hit until death (near 2-5% health), the injury animation will be skipped.
*Traveling or going indoors, or even using therapy shots (or anything that can cure paralysis) may help you reset. The torso must heal from paralysis before self-harming next time.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
