Introduction
Taking advantage of the game's numerous player voice files, this mod will increase the immersion of your Fallout 4 character to levels never seen in any game before.
From saying hello or commenting to others in the world, to them responding to you and you responding, commenting on friendly creatures or corpses, combat taunts and comments, looking at people who are speaking, head-tracking others and commenting on other players' actions or events, this mod is sure to make your Fallout 4 experience more enjoyable and realistic.
Many special features have been seamlessly built into the mod, such as unlocking unlimited conversations with companions and "What's on your mind" comments, used as responses to players' idle chats or greetings, making NPCs respond to your greetings, and automatically checking/correcting issues with the mod when you visit Pipboy.
All features of the mod are fully configurable via the comprehensive MCM settings menu, allowing you to set up the mod to perform or act exactly the way you are most comfortable. You can even turn mods on or off at will using the toggle tool or MCM hotkeys.
To ensure that this mod fits perfectly into the Fallout 4 game without any issues, a lot of improvements and changes have been made since the early concept of the mod was somewhat of a gimmick. The player reaction portion of the mod is designed to be as realistic as possible, only limited by what's available in the original game, and the variety of this feature is constantly being improved.
The development of this mod was by no means an easy task, with over 33,000 entries, and as of the current version, there are now over 2,000 lines of voice dialogue for character greetings, responses, and combat taunts, as well as over 10,000 lines of inactive NPC dialogue lines that players will respond to. We'll be working on increasing this even further, with the ultimate goal of covering all inactive dialogue for players, and even all follower chatter.
The only real way to know how much this mod will increase the immersion of the game and how much content it brings is to use it, and I really hope you enjoy the more realistic characters it brings you.
Oh, if you like this mod, don’t forget to go to the original site and like it!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
