About this mod Machine translation
You may be wondering, why would having multiple similar mods on your workbench clutter your selection screen? Notice how they use different materials?
Which materials use Misc-Items? This is the only way I can think of to make mods convert between weapon types. It's not perfect, but it works. You don't have to worry about it, it's part of the mod.
Known errors:
- When first installed, any existing piped weapons will be broken as the two receivers are reclassified, leaving no "receiver" slots except for the weapon conversion, so they are removed when installing. Therefore, the weapon will be invisible. It's best installed at the beginning of a new game, or can be simply fixed by modifying the pipe weapon individually again. This does not affect new weapons being introduced.
- At some point in the game, some attachment slots will disappear. Don't worry, it's still there, all you have to do is equip the weapon you want to modify and the missing slot will show up.
- Oddly, the pistol grips on the Bolt-Action and Revolver add more range than the Rifle Stocks, this is due to the Gunslinger perk and would give better range to both the pistol and the rifle, which I don't want to happen. However, fixing this means I have to fix it for the rest of the weapons, and that will be a whole new mess to deal with, which I don't want.
- Due to engine limitations, I compensated for the pellet issue with separate barrel types for the general pellet types; pistol, rifle and shotgun. It is not easily compatible with Destiny weapons, and requires each individual round type to have its own barrel to have its own projectile type.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
