The ENB has been repackaged and uploaded together with the weather update. Both need to be installed together for normal use.

Last year, I (one of the original authors, TreyM, the same below) uploaded a remastered version of the original Pilgrim: Commonwealth of Fear mod. While this version is a significant upgrade from the original, it does contain some bugs that I am unable to fix due to the passing of my father on Thanksgiving Day 2022. This basically destroyed any desire I had to continue doing anything for an extended period of time. This final version fixes most (or hopefully all) of the bugs in the remaster, in addition to sprucing up all the weather to further enhance them.

The original Pilgrim Remastered mod is described as follows:

Fallout 4's original horror overhaul has returned, with the remaster fully supporting all of the game's DLC. Each original Pilgrim weather has been polished and color graded remastered from the ground up. All the original Pilgrim music still exists. This is the final version of Pilgrim and a more complete version of my and L00ping’s original vision. I really hope you enjoy this expanded and remastered version of Pilgrim: The Commonwealth of Fear.

PILGRIM REMASTERED has some new features under the hood:

1: Custom fog shader designed to complement the game's existing fog and volumetric lights

2: Weather adaptive HBAO.

3: Ultra high quality option that provides some very wide bounce lighting for ENB (performance heavy)

4: Depending on the weather ENB configuration, available in all conditions

Achieving Balanced Lighting 5: A heavily modified depth of field shader designed to mimic the behavior of real lenses

6: Color accuracy for all color operations is 16bpc, perceptible

Barely Zero 7: Ability to turn TAA on/off from the ENB menu.

8: Each preset in Pilgrim can automatically set things like aspect ratio, grain, and found footage mode based on the selected preset selection.

Install:

1: Download the latest ENB binaries from ENBDev.com.

2: You only need the dll file in the "WrapperVersion" folder in the ENB zip file. Place them in the root directory of your Fallout 4 game.

3: Download and install ENB Extender for Fallout 4.

4: Download and install KiLoader for Fallout 4

5: Download the Pilgrim ENB file and follow the installation instructions included in the zip file.

6: Download and install the Pilgrim Weather and Music plug-in. (It is also packaged and uploaded. In addition, there is an optional patch to turn off the music, if you don’t like the music set by the author)

7: Use MO2 or Vortex to run and experience the actual effect.

Frequently asked questions:

Q: How do I open the ENB menu?

A: By default, it's "Shift + Enter" on the keyboard.

Q: I can't disable TAA!

A: Pilgrim is controlled via the ENB menu. There is a toggle switch in the "ENB SETUP" submenu.

Q: I can't disable adaptation!

A: You can do this from the "Pilgrim Control, Image Output" submenu. Click "Auto Exposure".

Q: How do I disable letterboxing/black bars?

A: Set "Letterbox Mode" to disabled in the "PILGRIM CONTROLS, IMAGE OUTPUT" submenu.

Q: How do I choose one of the new look presets?

Answer: There is a switch in the "PILGRIM CONTROLS, PRESET" submenu.

Q: How to enable super picture quality mode?

Answer: There is a switch in the "ENB SETUP" submenu.

Q: Can I make the night and interior brighter?

A: There is a brightness control for both in the "ENB SETUP" submenu.

Q: Is Pilgrim compatible with HDR Lights Patch?

A: Sort of... You can enable a workaround for lags in the "ENB SETUP" submenu.

Q: Is Pilgrim compatible with Frost?

A: I've been trying to get in touch with the developer of this mod for official support, but no luck so far.
