About this mod Machine translation

A house, an overpass, and lots of marshland south of Quincy. Comes with detailed scrapping, regenerated pre-compositions, dynamic navmesh, repairable houses and custom borders.

Original address:

The standard version and the PRP 74 compatible version are now packaged and uploaded together. You can choose one of the two to install according to your needs.

----

Place this mod near the bottom of your loadlist

Used once by a mission and then never touched again.

In my opinion, it makes sense that this isolated family would join the militia after you rescue their long-lost son.

Features

House immersion repair

Accessible overpass that you can build on, including both collapsed and standing sections. Complete navigation mesh.

The Peabody family serve as settlers after you complete their mission.

Highly scrappable, no external mods required.

regenerated precomposition

Custom borders that perfectly match the build space.

Dynamic navigation mesh that adjusts during scrapping and repair.

Automatic skeleton cleanup shortly after you first approach the workbench. However, this is just a skeleton.

Complete features such as attack points outside the borders, militia missions, raider missions, supply programs and more.

Install

Place "OCsPeabodyHouse.esp" at the bottom of the load order.

You can install this mod at any time.

Vortex installation steps

After installing and enabling the mod, click on the "plugins" tab in the lower left corner.

Find OCsPeabodyHouse.esp and double-click it. This should open a small window on the right. Scroll to the bottom of this window.

In the window from step 2, find Groups. Assign the plug-in to the "Dynamic Patches" group. Vortex will now sort mods to the bottom of the load order.

Other details

I intentionally kept all Quincy cells and visual preview clusters so this mod should be compatible with most Quincy mods.

NPCs can't use the edge at the north end of the overpass because it's in the Quincy cell, so I didn't touch it to avoid conflict hell.

Likewise, the center of the red semitrailer on the overpass is in the Quincy cell, so it cannot be discarded because doing so would require editing the precomposition of that cell.

Unlock settlements by completing the Kid in a Fridge quest. If you save Billy and the family, it will be unlocked immediately.

If you sell him without rescue, you'll have to kill his family to get a settlement. They cannot be killed until you sell Billy.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
