Paralysing and deadly security baton Paralyzing and deadly security baton
(Descriptions available in French and English)
French.
This mod adds two baton security to the game.
Their purpose is to allow you to use the game in a more peaceful way.
The First Baton paralyzes the target for 5 minutes, leaving them completely immobile and helpless.
Paralyzes your target a second time, dealing 5% of her maximum health per second, ultimately killing her, and then, when she dies, she disintegrates, leaving nothing but a pile of dust.
The interest of this baton is the ability to eliminate enemies in a gentle way, allowing the completion of certain tasks but not recording enemy deaths in statistics: for the sake of the game, you don't kill anyone.
Killing enemies with this weapon does not generate experience: the game considers you not responsible for the death.
Treat this weapon as a valid version of the "disable" command.
These two batons don't cause any damage to themselves and won't arouse any hostility from anyone when you hit them.
Do not give this data to companions or any NPC who may use it!
This file includes a French version and an English version of the baton: exactly the same weapon with the same effect, I decided to combine them into a single file to avoid creating two different files based on the .esp language.
You can find a chest at the foot of the wall behind the statue outside the Militia Sanctuary containing these batons (refer to the model's description screen to find it)
(The file name is in English)
English.
This mod adds two safety batons to the game.
They are designed to allow you to progress in the game.
The first safety baton paralyzes your target for 5 minutes, leaving him motionless and powerless.
The second safety baton paralyzes your target and inflicts its effects equal to 5% of his maximum health before his body disintegrates.
This safety means getting killed, but without too much violence.
This way, you can complete a mission that requires you to kill someone, but the game statistics won't record the kill, leaving you mostly innocent.
Kills don't matter because you play games where you're responsible for the deaths of those enemies.
You can consider this a completely valid alternative to the "disable" command.
Neither safety baton triggers anyone when you hit them.
Don't use weapons on anyone and let them use them!
This file contains French and English versions of the weapons, since ESP files cannot be used. They have the same effect, just their names are different.
You can find chests containing weapons on the wall behind the Minute Statue outside the Sanctuary (check the screen in the instructions to know exactly where to find them).
The screens are already used in the French version of the game, so don't worry if you see them.
English.
This mod adds two security baton to the game.
They are meant to allow you to progress in a more pacifist way in the game.
The first security baton paralyse your target for 5 minutes and render him immobile and powerless.
The second security baton paralyse your target and inflict him a effect who deal him damages equal to 5% of his maximum health every second, until his death, then, his body is disintegrated.
This security baton is meant to be a soft way to actually kill your foes, but without excessive violence.
That way, you can complete the quests who ask you to kill people, but the game statistics won't register the killing, making you virtually innocent.
Killing foes with that weapon does not reward experience, as the game doesn't consider you responsible for the death of those foes.
You can consider that baton as a quest completing effective alternative of the "disable" command.
Both security baton don't trigger hostily from anyone when you hit them.
DON'T GIVE THOSE WEAPONS TO ANYONE WHO COULD USE THEM AGAINST YOU!
The file contains both the french and the english version of the weapons, because i decided to not bother with making two di …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
