Introduction to machine translation + partial polishing:
What is it and what does it do?
Primordial Argonians is a mod that allows players to play as anthropomorphic raptors/lizards based on the Argonian race from the Elder Scrolls series. Does not affect NPCs.
Character customization:
Body:
- Females use wasteland bodies (hence the CBBE texture layout) nude, never nude and all clothing
- Male nudity, never nudity and clothing use enhanced vanilla mesh/texture layout, male nudity uses Zex - ZaZ extended skeleton
-Nude, Never Nude and all 4 outfits included in this mod use custom raptor-like feet
A note about raptor feet, due to the way Fallout 4 handles costumes (usually including footwear as one piece), most vanilla/modded costumes will have regular human feet rather than custom feet.
Appearance menu options:
- 50 eye color options, most with glow effects, some heterochromatic (different color for each eye) options
-30 horn options (access the horn option in LM by hovering over the neck area or selecting the neck area and pressing "T") Since horns are considered "facial hair" by the LM category, selecting the horn type may cause the LM to malfunction (especially on Nora) See the known issues below for a way to fix it if this happens.
-8 eyeliner options
-36 face paint options
-5 scar/damage options
-16 feather types (hair styles)
-All feather styles include feathers on the tail that change color with the head feathers
-Head deformation options that affect the size/length of the trunk and tusks
Important note about the tail feathers: In order for the tail feathers to match the head feathers, and be able to change color, they all need to be a mesh. So this means that if equipped with any headgear that uses a hair-hiding groove (some hats and/or full-head helmets), the tail feathers will also be hidden. This is not a bug, but a limitation.
Clothing/accessories included in the module:
The original Argonian mod includes 4 custom outfits that are also based on The Elder Scrolls, all of which are suitable for both genders. All 4 are designed to be race-correct and use raptor-like digitized animal feet.
-Gearhart Rogue: Dwemer-inspired steampunk costume that also includes a scarf, hood (hood), visor, visor and goggles (visors and goggles come in different variations)
-Gearhart Tribe: A tribal/stingy version of the Gearhart Rogue Outfit
-Shroud Armor: A dark leather bodysuit based on the Shroud Armor of the Dark Brotherhood Assassin's Guild. Also included are scarves, cowls (hoods) and masks. Is anyone scared?
-Original Argonne Maid: They may look a little nasty. Semi-skimpy French maid style outfit including dress, garters, wristbands and high heel foot wraps (shoes are experimental and may look weird in certain poses). Comes with separate headband. Yes, the valet costume can be worn by men, and no, I don't care what people think about it.
compatibility:
-This mod requires opening a new game. Support will not be provided to anyone trying to use it with an existing game save.
-This mod is incompatible with other mods that change player character race records. Serious problems can occur and we are not responsible for save game corruption, errors, glitches or crashes resulting from failure to note this
-Due to the custom head shapes for both genders, most masks/glasses will wear badly and need to be manually adjusted in BS to fit
-You can have multiple races installed (required for most companion race changes) but with only one race active at a time to play, there's no way to change races in-game like you can in Skyrim; Bethesda destroyed that ability. If you want to switch between races, you must exit the game completely and activate/deactivate the required plugins. Yes, it's a hassle, but there's no way around it.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
