Nuka-World Reborn is a quest mod that not only allows you multiple options to get rid of the raiders, but also adds new quest lines to Nuka-World and allows you to play as a merchant.
Author's words:
You need the latest version of Fallout 4 to play this mod, as it is included in the latest Creation Kit.
introduce
========
Nuka World Reborn is a quest mod that not only allows you multiple ways to take out the Marauders, but also adds new quest lines to Nuka World and allows you to play as a merchant.
The intention was to keep the moral gray and interesting story of Far Harbor, but Nuka-World lacks these.
Start this mod
========
If you haven't started Nuka World yet, go ahead and defeat Colt. Then, the mod's merchant questline and raider quests will begin.
If you have defeated Colt, the mod's Merchant questline and Raider quests will begin immediately.
There are two additional quest lines (see the "Features" section below to learn how to start them).
You have a total of 16 official missions (excluding warning missions), but you can't complete them all in one playthrough.
Warning==========
This isn't your typical "run and fight" mission mod. You need to pay attention to subtleties and remain curious to fully understand a character's motivations. It also has a free-floating structure, with no order deciding when to do which tasks.
If you want a more structured and forgiving mod, I recommend waiting until the sequel, Viva Nuka-World, released in late 2019.

Added new quest line:
- Merchant quest line, by far the longest and most complex. Chat with Lucy in the basement of Fizztop Grille to get started on this project.
- Raider missions, which pit you against Lucy.
- The NukaWorld Brotherhood quest line, which mainly involves taking over the Federation Institute. You can start by finding a clean bunker near the Bradburton Overpass, pick the lock on the trap door, and then talk through the intercom near the locked bunker door.
- Nuke World Research Institute quest line, only available if you decide to interfere with their operations. You can start by hacking into Lucy's terminal in the basement of the Fizztop Grille.
New ways to clear out looters:
- Destroying relationships between surviving raider groups. This is done during the "Adventure" mission in the NukaWorld Brotherhood questline. As long as Gage isn't present when you destroy it, this is the only option that allows you to keep him as a companion.
- Take more firepower from the merchant. This can only be accomplished if you've been on Lucy's side throughout the Merchant questline (part of the Fairtrade Part VI quest). You lose Gage by doing this and have to do something morally questionable to get this option.
Change the pillager flag to the merchant flag:
- Merchant version of the Grand Parade.
More choices and consequences:
Like certain areas in New Vegas and Far Harbor, you can actually use your perks and special skill attributes as new ways to achieve the same results.
These quest lines also have many ways to fail, but these are either obvious (like killing a faction member or the quest giver's business partner) or you're warned ahead of time (like New Vegas).
New companions:
If you complete the first NukaWorld Brotherhood mission without destroying the Federation Institute, you will gain access to a new companion, Claire.
She has a complete favorability system and has typical relationship scenarios.
Classic Fallout music:
Without it, New Vegas wouldn't be home.
Vanilla and DLC companions will react based on events in this mod:
Except old Longfellow.
compatibility
==========
Compatibility patches for Horizon and other mods can be found here.
Compatible with Project Valkyrie and optional patches can be installed. If you leave Sinstitute running, the NW Brotherhood quest line will jump directly to Claire, giving you events exclusive to this module. Otherwise, if you cancel Carter's plan, you can still complete the NW Brotherhood quest lin …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
