Because the VATS mode is too cheating, especially after adding the real night mod, sneaking at night is almost like a superpower. So I downloaded this MOD to achieve real effects.
This is the main file, which has been Chineseized. After loading, two options will appear in the auxiliary item, one is to set parameters, and the other is to enable bullet time. Similar to weapons, you can press Q to set it to the key you want. But it can only be set to 0123456789+-.
If you customize other keys, you can go to the N website and download the file to modify the keyboard yourself. F4SE support needs to be installed.
I have integrated a script to replace the Q key here. It is in another compressed package. How to use it: put the CustomControlMap.txt file into the data\F4SE\ folder. If you don’t have one, just create one yourself or overwrite it directly.
Then use F4SE to start the game. In the game, go to Auxiliary -> Bullet Time. Press the Q key to bind it to the = key, and you can use the Q key to enable bullet time. If it still doesn't work, first change the VATS in the control settings to another key.
Forgot to mention, the Chinese version is Traditional Chinese. If you want to change it to simplified Chinese, you can just download the xTranslator modification I posted two days ago.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
