About this mod Machine translation
I've always loved taking ice damage after Sky, but cryogens in Fallout 4 are... well... too big, too uncomfortable, ammo is rare, not much customization, etc.
And I like a lot of FO4's plasma guns.
Did you see it coming?
Yes, I made a standalone nitro gun based on the plasma gun! You can find it at the entrance to Vault 111.
Here are the details:
Base damage: 24 freezes (24x2 for plasma)
Base ammo capacity: 30 Plasma (same as Plasma)
Capacitor:
- standard
- Improved (+25% damage)
- Advanced (+50% damage, +10% ammo capacity)
- Overcharge (+75% damage, +30% ammo capacity)
- Legend* (+100% damage, extracts nitrogen from the air)
bucket:
- Short: Standard
- Splitter: Shotgun Conversion
- Long: Sniper conversion
- Automatic: automatic conversion
- Thrower: Conversion of thrower
There are improved versions of all barrels (yes, even the throwers)
Grips/Stocks:
- standard
- Comfortable
-Improve comfort
- Full stock
- Marksman Stock
- Recoil compensation inventory
- Marksman Compensation Stocks (The Best of Both Worlds!)
Attractions/Scope:
- Same as plasma (iron, reflex, short/medium/long, night vision and short and long scouting options)

Things to note about legendary capacitors
Air is 80% made of nitrogen. This experimental model only works with nitro guns and enables it to extract nitrogen from ambient air, eliminating the need for ammo and reloading.
You can't make it. The object mod must be found somewhere in Boston (shown below).
Where can I find it?

Known issues:
- Legendary mod adds some ballistic damage. I haven't found a solution to this problem yet.
- The crafting menu is incorrect.
- Plasma regeneration does not affect nitro guns (expected)
- This weapon does not slow down the target, it only deals cryo damage bypassing any resistance (expected)
compatibility:
- I didn't change any vanilla assets so it should be compatible with everything.
- Plasma Stock Fix may not be compatible with retextures (see "Preview File" in Downloads section)
- Compatible with re-scoped rebuilds (e.g. RobCo Recon)
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
