New textures for classic melee weapons
Don't you just hate how bland the melee weapon design in Fallout 4 is? Do you miss the classic aesthetic of previous games like New Vegas and Fallout 3? Introducing Classic Melee Reconstruction, several of Fallout 4’s melee weapons have been overhauled to look more faithful to classic weapons.

The new textures for classic melee weapons are part of a larger mod project that I (Bobthebuilder100) will be working on, which will mainly focus on making the art style of Fallout 4 more faithful to the style of previous Fallout games. The weapons with changed textures in this mod pack are:
-Sledgehammer

-Billiard cues
-switchblade
-Rolling pin
-lead pipe
-Chinese officer sword
-boxing gloves
-board
-Zhihu
-Tire removal stick
-Security stick
More updates are planned, such as a potential mesh update to make weapons look more accurate to classic weapons, and possibly touching on some other missing melee weapon textures.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
