This mod adds three brand new creatures as well as a new dungeon to the rather barren Glowing Sea.
background
The Forced Evolution Virus is an artificial virus created to combat outbreaks of the Blue Death. Unfortunately, it wasn’t long before governments began using the virus for more questionable purposes. The byproducts of the Commonwealth virus were mostly forgotten until they were unearthed.
Features
- Grendel is a melee-focused creature that comes in 5 variants and can hide in the silt pools surrounding the Glowing Sea.
- The Floater, an elemental ranged creature with 6 variants that can be found in the Glowing Sea and the larger Radioactive Pond.
- The Dover Demon, a ranged physical creature that comes in 3 variations and is very rare around the Commonwealth.
- A new short dungeon that provides lore for these new creatures, West Tek, and the Institute's FEV program.
Location:
You can find the unmarked lab directly west of Sentinel Site, hidden by some rocks.
Note: All mobs will drop new consumables and junk items. Can be used for new food or new settlement decorations.
In addition to being able to find them in the Glowing Sea, some super mutants have tamed these mutants and can be found fighting alongside them.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
