Enhanced 1.7 version updated on December 31st: still material repair

Updated version 1.6 Enhanced clothing on June 24th: still has repaired materials

On June 22, a new version of Combat and Enhanced clothing was updated: the textures were repaired. In addition, patches for the Bipipi Tablet and Tactical Tablet were updated to fix the problem of a large bulge in the left hand of people using tablets when wearing clothes.

Enhanced version 1.3 updated on June 18th: Repaired materials

The main files of Combat, Enhanced and Redux versions of clothing, as well as V2 patches corresponding to replaceable appearances, have been uploaded. You can choose one of the three main files and patches to download and install according to your needs.

----

What can I get?

You get two outfits, for men only, and a helmet. There are 3 variants of this armor: a reupload of the original version with slight differences, an enhanced version that replaces the lower body, and another version that replaces the lower body with some combat pants.

Each version has V1 and V2 variants. The difference is the rolled up sleeves.

Place:

Both costumes can be found in "Listening Post Bravo" (near the Slog), which also contains a terminal and a holotape.

Or you can generate it through the console ''help renegade 4''

Download instructions:

Choose a style of clothing that you like, that differs only in the lower body. Download the main file. If you would like to roll up your armbands, please download the corresponding V2 file.

Why choose Redux? :

The original armor had 2 major problems, which is a shame because it was a pretty good lore-friendly set of armor. I took it upon myself to resolve these issues and have used it for ~100 hours since launch with no further issues.

Problem #1 is missing nails/invisible hands. I solved this problem by adding gloves. Technically, your hands are still invisible, just don't think about it.

Issue #2 is that whenever the player or NPC takes damage/is staggered when armor is visible (including CTD on death), this is caused by poor meshing in "Rolled Jeans". I solved this problem by removing the grid. I think tucking your jeans into your boots looks a little silly, but the camera is never low enough for you to notice it.

The vest will still turn silver in the rain, probably due to the True Storms, but it will disappear after a few seconds. It has the same texture as the “Militarized Minutemen” vest.

Will you improve this mod? ///There is a problem with this module!

I put these together in a very short period of time and my sample size is 1. If there are any mesh issues or texture issues, please let me know and I'll push a fix as soon as possible.

I would like to update this mod with a variable mesh in the future so I don't have to upload multiple versions. Once I learn how to do it, I'll do it. I also wanted the headlight on the helmet to work properly. If you wear a helmet, a patch for voice modulation may also be uploaded. If you're a big brain and like this mod, please let me know what cool stuff I can do - if you're a smooth brain, we're in the same boat.

I can try to solve any other problem, but I'm an amateur and make no promises.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
