About this mod Machine translation
Give your female soul survivor a younger, fresher complexion.
It's beautiful without the stitching or build-up of makeup. Either way, she'll look great!
To get a complete look in character creation, select "Smooth" for the forehead and neck, "Weathered" for the cheeks and the Number 01 option for the eyes, nose and mouth.
This mod is not supposed to "compete" with Valkyr. I like Fuse's textures, that's why I made them compatible.
I'm just trying to make facial texture models and I'd like more options.
If you switch from Valkyr to this on an existing character, you may notice that her nose suddenly looks larger. This is because Fuse's textures give the character what I call a "nose job" on normal maps, which is something I've done in some of my own textures in other games but not here, as Fallout 4 already lets you make incredibly thin noses). Just visit the surgeon or use the SLM 14 to trim the tip, you may also need to lower the bridge to get the same review.
Technical Note:
This complexion significantly changes the color of the skin. If your character already uses the smooth option, you may need to visit a surgeon to change your skin tone.
This mod alters the record SkinHeadFemaleYoung and is incompatible with mods that alter this record or textures in actors/character/piper_*.dds
Vanilla Piper will remain unchanged since she doesn't actually use the texture named after her.
This mod is compatible with mods that can change basefemalehead_*.dds files, such as Valkyr Face Texture. You can use both at the same time. In fact, I tried to have my textures colored similarly so that if you decide to use both options for different parts of the face, they can blend together. Results may vary, but using any vanilla texture on your face will almost certainly look bad due to color mismatch.
I included an esp as the main file so that if the "Piper" textures were directly referenced by another character in the game, it would still use them. If you are just changing textures, you can download the non-esp version.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
