About this mod Machine translation

Notice:

  • This MOD requires the game version to be v1.6.9 or higher.
  • If you have Nuka World installed, the author recommends that you upgrade to v1.73 because the settlement mechanism has been significantly modified.
  • If you have installed the "unofficial patch v1.0.4c", the author recommends that you restart the game to play the new DLC, because as long as you have installed the "unofficial patch v1.0.4c", it is likely to destroy the generation of settlement raiders in the DLC.

Notice:

  • This MOD requires the official version of the game v1.5
  • The first time you use this MOD, a holographic tape (setter) will be added to your inventory (note book holographic tape column). I have not tested whether the author has implemented new file protection, so just in case, if you are a new file, disable this MOD first, and then enable this MOD after leaving the 111 shelter.
  • Unable to upgrade from v1.0x version
  • Only the Chinese version has been tested. If the specific functions are valid, please test by yourself.

This MOD provides the following functions (some functions are automatically implemented, and some functions can be set to be turned on or off):

  • Automatically name residents. Now residents are no longer called in the same way, but will be given a random name. Including the purchased dog.
  • Display residents' jobs based on the jobs you assigned them.
  • Function of corpses in cremation settlements. Bodies in some settlements never disappear, but can be cremated and turned into ashes. However, skeletons and preset Brahmin corpses cannot be cremated (this is considered a container in terms of game mechanics, not a corpse)
  • General’s power function. The Old Guns mission needs to be completed. Residents without jobs can be automatically assigned. The priority level is Food>Guard>Shop>Others. "General's Power - Federation" automatically assigns some residents of non-current settlements (only supports some settlements)
  • Random height function for residents.
  • Target indication function. When a settlement is attacked and you defend the settlement, an enemy that needs to be killed is automatically marked. Mark another one after death.
  • Supports the two MODs of modern firearms and Wearable Backpacks and Pouches, and residents may be equipped with these MOD items ().
  • Resident generation rate setting
  • Setting the male-to-female ratio of new residents
  • When the player-only bed function is enabled (enabled by default), it seems that the bed where the player has slept becomes exclusive for the player and cannot be used by NPCs.
  • Preset bed patches. NPCs may not automatically use the beds that originally existed in the settlement, so a patch is provided.
  • Support DLC.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
