About this mod Machine translation
important!
To obtain the armor, open the console and type "help N7 4", this will display all item IDs.
Then type "PLAYER.ADDITEM XXXXXXXX" X represents the item ID, each item can be added to your inventory.
I'm going to add a container inside.
Experience any difficulties upgrading from a previous version, some things, like names, may need to be "updated" before the changes take effect. To do this, try placing some attachments on the item, or just add newer versions via the command console!
Anyone have any issues with the glitch not showing up or showing up as a defect, that's your issue, you need to read to understand how to enable the mode or is it a glitch, NMM is not installed correctly. This thing needs to be reinstalled via NMM, usually it will run the second time.
Enable MODS:
Edit your Fallout4.ini and change
The following entries. If the entry doesn't exist, you can create one yourself, just make sure it belongs to the same title (the title is enclosed in square brackets):
[ARCHIVE]
bInvalidateOlderFiles = 1
sResourceDataDirsFinal =
^^^ LEAVE sResourceDataDirsFinal BLANK, the old method required you to type the name of the folder, but now using bInvalidateOlderFiles = 1 makes it unnecessary, so leave it blank. If you encounter problems using this method (very rare), revert to the old method of enabling the mod.
If you like the MOD, please come back and endorse it! This lets me know I'm doing the right thing
And keep me patterned!
describe:
This is my Mass Effect/N7 inspired armor collection. It's using the combat armor, vaultsuit, military cap, and flight helmet vanilla assets that I've slowly accumulated into new ones. This is not a simple "Black Armor" mod, it is entirely standalone and has been modified to not only change the palette file to a darker color, but also remove the palette functionality all together to use its own colors in the diffuse texture.
At this stage, the Vaultsuit is 100% complete. Combat armor using Flight Helmet 01 as a helmet is now fully usable, but more detailed textures will be updated in the future. At this stage it consisted of a carefully balanced specular map, a semi-matte black metallic look was achieved by changing the environment map in the material file, and the mesh was modified to allow individual material files (red and white stripes) to be assigned to each arm.
Future work will include improving the combat armor's textures to better reflect the style of Mass Effect armor, with carbon fiber fabric, dotted armor plates, additional decals, etc., which will then be added to the specular and normal maps uploaded.
Also, my N7 weapon collection will be uploaded separately, which includes laser rifles, academy rifles, 10mm pistols, and of course... Omni-blade1 (this one is troublesome!)
I hope you enjoy my mods, read the installation instructions and compatibility.
Now, before we move on, here’s a link to a pretty awesome new FO4 Machinima from SikSikSikki, go watch it right now. If you are a fan of Red vs Blue then you will love this style and the fact that he pumps out content frequently.
Install:
NMM users - just download my files and install NMM as usual. This file does use Fo4Edit to create an ESP, if you have issues with the fix being disabled because of the patch you have to look for a workaround, there is a lot of stuff online, it's not a problem with my mod, it's just a result of the latest FO4 patch.
Manually - Just drag and drop my files onto the data folder and all assets are added accordingly. Make sure to add the name of the .ESP file to the plugins.txt file (C:/Users/Username/AppData/Local/Fallout4/Plugins.txt) and set it to read-only when you are done stopping the launcher to reset your plugins.txt (the result of a recent patch).
compatibility:
This mod is self-contained and uses all unique meshes, materials and textures, so you shouldn't run into any compatibility issues. In the near future I will be modifying the contents of the container to hold these item …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
