About this mod Machine translation
Universal Century 0079: With the outbreak of the One Year War, mass production of Gundam Mobile Suits Power Armor has begun. Added mobile suit from 08th MS Team as playable power armor. They are located in the explosive chest outside Vault 111. Like literally next to the elevator.
Includes suit:
EZ8
RX-79 [G]
RGM-79 [G]
Zaku II
Update: Added Red Char Paint for Zaku II.
feature:
-------------------------------------------------- --------------------
All sets include a jetpack option that can be used in the Power Armor Station. The RX-79 and Ez8 include a second jetpack with an additional container for increased carrying capacity.
GM paint jobs can be converted to GM Sniper units. This makes Teams 6, 7 and 8. You can add a GM Head to the RX-79 for a classic GM Head look.
The left arm model can be used by Gundams and GMs to add a shield. The side version looks fine when the arms are down, but the first person view suffers from severe clipping issues due to the way gun animations work. I created a second spot on the back of the arm that looks good when holding the weapon but is a bit hard to see when on the side.
Comments and known issues:
-------------------------------------------------- --------------------
I know GM doesn't have the right legs. I just repainted the Gundams legs but they are close enough.
There are clipping issues when entering and exiting power armor. I try to minimize this as much as possible, but it still happens, especially on the GM chest.
The Zaku headlight is on a single eye, and I recommend switching it to red light to get some good screenshots. The other headlights are hidden in the chest. If I have time, I might try switching them to backpacks to match the show.
If you zoom in too close, the Zaku II crotch panel will disappear. I don't know how to solve this problem.
If you have issues with Jetpacks, try restarting the game. Sometimes they act weird when adding new jetpacks to existing jetpacks.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
