More HUD information
More information. Just where you need it.
This module is in
Fallout 4 gives you surprisingly little information.
More HUD Information adds a compact information card to the HUD, showing more details about items, NPCs, and world objects without requiring you to open the Pip-Boy, transport menu, or console.
Just glance at it and the extra information will appear alongside Fallout 4's normal interactive interface. same
The system also works with the quick container menu, which displays information about the currently selected item directly when picking it up.
Item information
The information displayed changes automatically based on the type of item you are viewing.
arms
Shows damage, bonus damage type, rate of fire, ammo type, and ammo capacity.
Armor
Shows armor level and additional resistances.
Auxiliary items
Display effects and addiction probabilities directly on the heads-up display.
Rubbish
View the components contained in a junk item without opening another menu.
Installed mods
Instances of weapons, armor, and other modified items can display modifications to the object they are currently attached to.
value and weight
Quickly see an item's value and weight while exploring or looting.
NPC information
More HUD information can also directly display detailed information about NPCs in the world.
Available information includes:
- Equip weapons
- HP
- Action points
- Damage resistance
- Energy resistance
- Elemental Resistance
- Toxin resistance
- Radiation resistance
- Physical condition
- Power Armor Status
NPC information can be configured independently for use by settlers, current companions, and other NPCs.
Fully healthy limbs and power armor pieces can optionally be hidden to keep information cards compact.
Debug information
More HUD information also serves as a lightweight in-game inspection tool.
Information useful to modders and debuggers can be displayed directly on the HUD:
- Plugins
- FormID
- EditorID
- ReferenceID
- memory address
- unit
- world space
- Location
- Rotate
Containers, doors, activators, and other references also display information when all other features are enabled.
FallUI icon support
With the FallUI icon library installed, more HUD information can be displayed with matching item and message line icons.
Even without an icon library, the mod is still fully usable.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
