Introducing a new Resident Evil creature for you to learn about the zombie load order; the Regenerator in Resident Evil 4
These are injected into the LCharFeralGhoul list via script, and usually have a small chance of appearing where the ghoul appears.
Now join the Iron Lady enemies!
These units function the same as regular regenerators, but deal damage over time when you stand near them. They also have higher stats, are stronger, and have more health than standard regenerators.
What is a Regenerator?
The Regenerators are experimental biological weapons created by the Spanish militant group Los Illuminados. Regenerators are known for their enhanced regenerative abilities.
The Regenerators were a by-product of Los Iluminados' research into Plaga-based bioweapons. The regenerators themselves are created by implanting a variety of parasites into the human body, causing the body to undergo drastic mutations.
These enemies currently have much higher health than typical ghoul enemies and can quickly regenerate from damage taken. These MODs are sometimes generated at the location where the Ghoul Boss refreshes, injected through scripts, and work seamlessly with other mods.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
