What is a Stinger?
Stinger is a scorpion infected by the T-Virus, as shown in Resident Evil 0. This is just one of the many B.O.W.s Umbrella created while researching arachnid biological weapons.
I (original author GeminiVoid, the same below) actually just made this for myself, but decided to share it with the community because I know there are a lot of Resident Evil fans who might like this (:
This includes three new enemy types: regular stinger, glowing stinger, and albino stinger. These replace the normal Radiant Scorpion spawn points.
Several points to note:
The model isn't perfect, I tried my best to adjust the bone weights. I think they look ok, just try not to look too closely (; I'll come back and take a look at it in the future to iron out any issues!
- The stinger is not as large as Resident Evil 0; the Wiki estimates it to be around 3 meters (9 feet 10 inches), which I feel is unnecessary in a Fallout world with a lot of tight turns and other possible problems.
I do not recommend using this mod with other mods that modify the form of the Radiant Scorpion, as they may not be compatible. Anyway, hope you like it!

I in no way receive any monetary benefit from any Resident Evil themed mods I make, I simply make them for free to share with the community. Here you can find Capcom's policies regarding the use of its assets.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
