About this mod Machine translation
what it can do
Makes all robots in Graygarden, Drinkin Buddy, Professor Goodfeels in Sunshine Tidings Co-op, and Deezer in Covenant fully modifiable as Automatrons. Several bugs were also fixed, such as Codsworth being unmodifiable and Goodfeels automatically disappearing.
Here's a much needed compilation of my early mods:
- Moddable Buddy
- Moddable Graygarden
- Modifiable and fixed Goodfeels
- Codsworth Automatron Fix
- Moddable Deezer
You can also consider this mod as a framework to unlock robot settler NPCs for use in other modes such as Automatron EyeBot Companions, Automatron - Weapons System Overhaul or AutomatronSecuritron!
How to install
Extract the contents of the rar file to the Fallout4/data folder.
Use the mod manager or enable ModdableRobotSettlers.esp manually.
Make sure these lines appear in Fallout4Prefs.ini or Fallout4Custom.ini:

compatibility
Requires Fallout 4 Automatron DLC.
This is a framework designed to work perfectly with other Automatron mods, as it unlocks additional mods for robot settler NPCs such as Automatron EyeBot Companions, Automatron - Weapons System Overhaul or AutomatronSecuritron!
-Ren-'s "Handy Hats and Armors" (current version 1.31) will hide Torso and Legs mods from any vanilla Ms. Nany/Mr. Handy/Mr. Gutsy NPC, including Codsworth, since -Ren- removed the "ap_Bot_BotCore" and "ap_Bot_BotLegs" DLC Automatron required keywords to be entered in Mr. Handy Race's APPR record. Thanks fernicar for reporting to me!

How to use in game
generally
If you have the appropriate solution, you can modify resident robot settlers in Robot Workbench like any other Automatrons. A general rule of thumb is to change mods designated as "non-automaton" first.
CODSWORTH
If you can't customize Codsworth in the workbench, just install this mod, launch the game and he should be fixed.
GOODFEELS
- To fix Goodfeels install the mod, start the game, if you have visited Sunshine Tidings and Professor Goodfeels has left, open the console and type:
prid 000d5221
player.moveto 000d5221
enable
PRID
You will be teleported to Professor Goodfeels' location. Now he won't disappear again.
- Keep him in command at the settlement and stop him from wandering
- Travel to other settlements outside of the Sunshine Tidings co-op, such as Starlight Drive In
- Enter the console, enter prid d5221 and select Goodfeels
- Move Goodfeels to your location by entering moveto player
- Exit the console, enter studio mode, highlight Goodfeels and use the "move" command to properly attach him to the settlement
- After that he can command the mission, he can also move to other settlements
- So that he can modify Sunshine Tidings as a solution, with Goodfeels fixed as above, you can modify it in Robot Workbench like any other Automatrons. Just change the mod designated as "Non-Automatron" and you're golden.
Known issues
Deezer's Mr. Handy has a strange bug on his arm. If you're stuck with multiple weapons in one arm or a misplaced arm, SamusKnight2K posted a solution in the comments: remove all parts, reset them to use non-automaton parts, and open the console. Click on him and type "recycleactor" and reset his body. This fixes the weird arm bug.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
