About this mod Machine translation
We all really liked FNV's M82a3 by Alexscorpion now back with completely new stuff, such as slightly improved textures, fixed and flip models, fully working bolt and trigger animations, magazines reloading correctly without clipping and/or weird hand positions.
Until we can finally change the animation pack (because using keywords lets you use a set of animations without letting you choose separate 1st, 3rd and reload/recoil animations), this weapon will only use CombatShotgun/Rifle animations. First person is a bit big, but not too game-breaking. When we are finally able to complete it, I will make it use the SMG first person pose.
Weapons now have innate armor penetration. Future recipients will also change this stat, as well as others (like damage, critical chance, firepower, etc.). Currently, only 6 mods can be built:
long term horizon
Long night vision range
reconnaissance range
silent muzzle
No Bipod Barrel
New hair trigger receiver
Custom sounds for weapons!
Require:
For some strange reason it requires legendary modification mods. If anyone manages to solve this problem I would be very grateful. Without the LM mod, the weapon will not show up in the workbench. I'm sure and honestly have no idea why this weird phenomenon is happening.
fixed!
There are no requirements except the game itself.
How to get:
It can be found on advanced gunners, guides, and NPCs. There is a 100% chance that any level sniper NPC available will try to kill you no matter what. This NPC is a possible Easter egg for another one that appeared in Fallout 3 and acted in the exact same way. No more tips :D
You can also generate it using the console: type help m82 4 and use the code it says. "player.additem XX (where XX represents the loading mode number) 000813"
To-do list:
Add it to the level list and done!
make it easy to understand
Fix this weird LM dependency. Finish!
Known BUGS:
- Weird collision net when falling to the ground. I believe I can fix this but I need to redo some things...so it will take a while
-Double barrel slot in workbench: Can't really understand why this happens, but I'm working on it
- Possible bug: In Alpha, accuracy issues were reported with weapons. Maybe beta might have fixed it.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
