Converted all STS ranges to FTS
Author's words:
Convert all applicable scopes in SalientPhantom's Escape from Boston - HK G36 to FTS. All scopes are individually craftable items. The sights are seen for the default G36 carry handle and not with other modifications. If you use a different carrying handle, you will have to revisit the scope in the FTS overlay menu.
All overlay settings (zoom, view distance, etc.) can be adjusted to your preference in the FTS overlay menu.
Require:
Escape from Boston - HK G36 Redux
Fake Through Scope v0.9.4 and all requirements
Known issues and limitations:
If modified using any other controller than the default g36 controller, the scope will not be sighted correctly. If you want a different carry handle, you'll have to revisit the overlays via the overlays menu.
The laser dot is not centered when aiming, which was an issue with the original G36 mod that I had no control over.
Disabling the TA31's RMR mount did not allow the FTS overlay to work with the RMR grid, so I disabled the option to mount the RMR to the optic.
The reticle looks a little funky when walking around, and there are spots where you can see the edges of the scope. This is due to the animations included in the weapon mod, which again I have no control over. I placed overlays to offset as much of this as possible.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
