About this mod Machine translation

A custom .50 anti-material rifle inspired by the weapon aesthetic of Fallout 4, complete with original assets, animations, and a small new dungeon to earn it. ESP is labeled ESL.

Updated on November 23:

Version 1.3

Dungeon location moved to eliminate pre-combine conflicts. Expanded and improved dungeons. Added night vision goggles. Adjust all sights for perfect alignment.

September 19th update 1.2a-c compatibility version (Compatibility): This version does not contain dungeons and has no world editor to maximize compatibility. This weapon can only be obtained through looting or purchasing.

Now packaged and uploaded together with standard moderator files and 4K textures.

Updated on January 27th:

Version 1.2a

Greatly reduced jitter in some animations. Thanks to Brainstormepilog for the help.

The main body and 4k texture have been repackaged and uploaded together.

Chinese version updated on January 20th:

Updated on January 17th:

Version 1.2

Fixed strange sprinting footsteps sounds. Fixed 4k textures using version 1.0 barrel textures. Balance changes: Value: 500 --> 200 Weight: 15 --> 8 AP Cost: 40 --> 25 Range: reduced, barrel adjusted. Long barrels now require Gunsmith 2 to craft like short barrels.

The main body and 4k texture pack have been uploaded again.

Updated on January 15th:

Version 1.1a

Hotfix A: The Suppressor now works with the Mr. Sandman perk. Thanks to Captainoob for letting me know this.

Version 1.1

Textures were redesigned and some details added. Repairing gun barrels is sometimes an invisible problem.

Now repackaged and uploaded

This module contains:

  • Receiver: usual vanilla stuff with balance adjustments
  • 3 barrels: standard, short, long
  • 3 Stocks: Standard, None, Marksman
  • Sights: Iron Meow, reflex, see-through and regular mid-length sights, see-through and regular recon sights, all with custom visual effects. "STS" is not required; this mod uses its own system.
  • Magazine: standard, large, armor-piercing large and standard (like Fallout 76)
  • Muzzle: Slotted and arrow-type detent, suppressor (only noise reduction, not silencer)
  • Ammunition types: Standard (FMJ), Pulse (huge damage to robots and power armor/less damage to everything else), Explosive (New Vegas style)
  • Flashlight: off, normal, bright
  • Carrying handle, with/without handle

Features:

  • Animations designed to fit the original while still feeling custom (supports first, third, and power armor first third person shooters)
  • Bethesda style gun aesthetics
  • Clean ESL marked as ESP, does not affect your plugin limitations, regenerates pre-compose and preview for the included one edit cell for optimization.

Actual performance:

Base damage: 75

Balance-wise, it serves as a logical progression after the shotgun, filling the obvious shortcomings of a dedicated .50-use weapon.

Depending on your selections in the installer, weapons are either unique or injected into the upgrade list via script. If you opt for the unique version, you can only find an AMR 3000 somewhere in the Luminous Sea. If you choose the LL list version, this placed weapon will still be available, and the AMR 3000 will also appear in the hands of level 40 gunners, snipers and bosses, and in the hands of level 50 weapon vendors. Additionally, you can choose the weapon, which is called the "AMR 3000" in the game, or the "Anti-Material Rifle" in the game to really fit in with the original.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
