Updates to MK18 CQBR
FX0X01’s early work MK18 CQBR recently received an update.
Added highly customizable MK18 CQBR with missions, custom sounds, first and third person animations, and leveled list integration.
Mod adds customizable MK18. Features custom missions, sounds, leveled list integration and animations (1st and 3rd person), includes 1 unique reload for 3 different grips. It also adds 4 new calibers (.6 and .2 BLACKOUT) and a craftable unique caliber called "PUNISHER".
There are 458 options to start with:
Mission: The MK3 mission begins when the player reaches level 300
Normal: Skips the quest and only gives you the options that are shown after completing the quest (level list, crafting, etc.)
Cheat: Same as normal, but also adds the weapon to the player's inventory
Due to changes made to Fallout 4 and the Creation Suite in recent updates, this mod will only work properly in games patched to 1.10.163+.
Provided is a 4K texture master file. Note that after installing this version, the MK18 series files are sorted as follows:
MK18 CQBR (master file only)
MK18 Deluxe Edition
MK18 Arsenal Project 1
MK18 Arsenal Project 2
MK18 Arsenal Project 3
Another MK18 extension (without M110)
This version is not recommended to be used as a replacement for the V1.0 version. After installing it, I (the reposter) found that all the accessory sights were inconsistent with the actual ballistics. Simply put, they were unable to aim. (The actual trajectory is higher than the top of the scope) It is better to wait for other accessories to be updated simultaneously before replacing and upgrading.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
