About this mod Machine translation
This mod turns Good Neighbors into a prosperous, densely populated city rather than the lifeless bustle of sin that Todd Howard thought it was. Proper external defenses, world space corrections and fixes, changes to good neighbor NPCs and more - highly compatible. All this to tinker and build Better GN and Goodneighbor Exp.
Other asset usage credits:
Zorkaz: I wanted to start with this guy because they make a lot of different mods, resources, and guides that are made available to the community, and most (if not all) of them are open assets for use. Their mods are excellent and have found a way to scratch that itch you didn't realize you had. So I urge everyone to check out their other mods.
Modules used:
- Shower
- bathroom
- Street vendor
- Guard object
- Scarecrow
- Studio
- Bakery
- carpentry
- Combined Settlement Objects - This includes some of the other items already listed, but offers many others.
- new bed
*Shrines and gods
*teahouse
- Detective decoration
- Occultism
- Cybersecurity and scammers
Nai: In my opinion, their furniture and static works are better. They are of high quality while maintaining an aesthetic that matches the post-apocalyptic world. I'm a big fan of their work. If you're interested, check out the many other mods on offer.
- Scavver's settlement suite
- Comfortable Scavver
F4StoryExpansionProject - His mod, Post-Apocalyptic Biker Gang Outfits, seemingly done/assisted by DefaltTheFixer, was merged into this mod. This is an excellent clothing mod and highly recommended.
- Post-apocalyptic biker gang costume (single player)
DefaltTheFixer: Arguably the best costume modder in the world. I used his Mercenary Outfit Pack to create the costume.
- Mercenary equipment package (stand-alone version)
Crimsomrider: I incorporated assets from some of their Crimsomrider accessories into my mod, following their guideline of only using a handful of assets (I use about 10% of the mod's assets, give or take). Anyway, if you want all the glamor the accessory pack has to offer, grab it and the AWKCR replacement esp. This, and their other mods are excellent and would be a great addition to any load order. I've also recently integrated some assets from her Crimsomrider's unique furniture mod into my interior units. If you haven't installed it yet, go check it out - great job!
Ethreon: I am allowed to use assets from any of their mods in any of my own mods. I threw in an item or two from Workshop Request Time, and a few items from Vanilla Extensions - which is, in my opinion, the most requested settlement mod besides Place Everywhere. It's very good, like all their mods - give it a try.
- Creative workshop request time
- Vanilla extension
- Cabin in the Woods - An absolutely fantastic mod - give it a spin!
*Paucey - Just a neat little mod that I thought was worth including. Providing a good-looking sentry post, I plopped into the city.
- Shelter sentry
- MLucke - His Prisoner Shackles mod makes some nice additions to the Old State House prison area.
- Prisoner shackles
Neeher's Climable Ladders -- Modder's Resource - I highly recommend the main Climable Ladders Mod to you settlement building enthusiasts out there.
RyanFSS: Nuka World Shopper's Paradise - Highly recommend this mod. Added some snippets to Goodneighbor from this plugin.
Kurohux: The Kuro Tab - Highly recommended. Added a lot of fun and unique furniture to the build menu - his pieces definitely add a lot of interest to my interior cells.
AidanWatts3D: I was allowed to place his Fallout 3 Workshop furniture items into my mod world space. His work is great. Give it a try.
Carnageeater - For his work on the Graffiti 2 Electric Boogaloo and allowing me to incorporate it into my own mod.
Lonnie667 - His mod Snappable Clutter and Display is awesome! Give it a try. It really helps pull the inner cells together.
Housewife - A nice addition to my indoor cell. Take a look at the team behind it and see if this mod, or any other mod they're responsible for, catches …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
