Minutemen Takeover - Nuka World

About this mod Machine translation
This mod allows you to complete the mission "Open Season" by using minutes to eliminate all gangs in Nuka World
feature:
•As the Minute General, you can summon your Minute Army to take over the Nuka world
•Improved attacker AI package. Once the fighting begins, all attackers will begin to come out of their lairs and join in street fights (including their leaders).
•You can set up a gang by assassinating one of its leaders.
•Once the battle is over, the surviving Minutemen will remain in the Nuka world
How to get started:
Once the mission "Open Season" begins, you will receive "--- Minutemen Radio ---" in your misc tag. You can use it to summon minutes and issue commands
Note: You must receive Minutemen Radio to start Open Season by talking to Mackenzie or Preston Garvey.
Order:
Sequence: Call Minutes = You can call and choose how many minutes you want to take. Once you call them, you may have to wait 1-3 days for it to arrive. If you haven't reached Nuka World yet, you won't be able to issue any commands
Sequence: Attack = Minutes Personnel will rampage Nuka World from the main entrance
Command: Prepare to Attack = Minutes personnel will be on standby, but as soon as you kill the gang leader they will attack Nuka World
Order: Standby = They will be on standby until you order them to attack. This is useful if you have the gangs kill each other first and then have the minutemen kill the few surviving attackers
performance:
Instead of having all the raiders show up to their base and have all the minions attack at the same time (resulting in 100+ npcs), I'm trying to have them fight one at a time.
For example: Each gang can only have about 15 members at a time, and every time one of them dies, they will be replaced by another member waiting inside their base until all members are killed.
Minute people can only be active for 25 minutes at a time, and every time one of them dies, another will spawn to replace them until you run out of minutes.
I've also added an option to make corpses disappear after death (excluding unique NPCs). This will look unusual since the body will disappear within 5 seconds of death, but it will help performance a lot. You can turn it on or off using the minute radio (it's on by default)
Obviously you can't loot them once they're gone, but to fix that I added a "war chest" behind the second door (in front of Cappy's Cafe and under the scaffolding).
Whenever a gang member or minuteman dies, their inventory will be transferred to the war chest before they disappear. Make sure to loot after the battle:)
Important tips:
The minutes that will spawn are just regular minutes (the ones that appear when you use your torch gun), so be sure to download a mod that improves the minutemen, otherwise they'll just be a bunch of lvl 1 peasants attacking the Nuka world with pipe pistols.
Just make sure to put this mod above those minute mods. If you don't do this, chances are the minutes won't show up.
What I recommend is Militarized Militia, Ditch the Militia, Overhaul the Militia and We Are the Militia. There may be others, but these are the ones I personally tested
I'd also recommend a mode that makes combat harder so you actually have a reason to call minutes for help, rather than being a killing machine that can slaughter hundreds of attackers with a single shot.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
