About this mod Machine translation
describe:
This mod reimagines the militia gear from Fallout 4.
The changes are as follows:
- Change general color scheme
- Black undershirt
- More cloth-like material
- Very little dirt
- Reduce cloth specular reflection
- More prominent buttons
- Regenerate normal maps to highlight these changes
The gear is in default 2K resolution and affects both male and female versions of the armor.
Optional files:
Black Jacket: Darkens the jacket and pants.
Blue Coat: Makes the coat blue.
Dark Pants with Brown Jacket: The pants are darker while retaining the brown jacket.
Brown Coat Dirty Version: Adds some dirt and grime to the brown coat.
Dark Blue Coat: Makes the coat appear dark blue.
Green Coat: Makes the coat dark green.
Gray Coat: Makes the coat gray.
Olive Coat: Makes the coat olive.
Red Coat: Makes the coat red. Not very friendly.
Tan Coat: Makes the coat tan like a universal Minutemen.
White and Black Jackets: Makes the jacket white and the pants and collar black.
White Coat: Make the coat as white as Preston Garvey.
Miscellaneous documents:
No Star Decal: Remove the stars from the chest. Also affects combat armor.
Shinier Buttons: Make the buttons a little brighter so they pop out of the cloth "more".
Shiny Combat Armor: My custom tweak to the combat armor (it also affects the chest).
compatibility:
Will override any other texture mods affecting Minutemen General's armor.
Known issues:
The top buttons on the jacket are slightly stretched. This is a mesh problem that cannot be solved until there are tools available to fix it.
Install:
Standard procedure. If you are new to installing mods, watch this (manual installation) or watch this (NMM installation).
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
