Militia Reinforcement Radio
Radio project to allow calling for reinforcements
About this mod Machine translation
Radio project to allow calling for reinforcements
This mod adds a radio item after the Militia mission "Independence" is completed. If the player has completed the mission or completed the mission, the "Handheld VHF Radio" item will be added to their inventory. It can also be crafted under the Utilities tab of the Chem Station after the mission is completed.
Squad upgrade
You can upgrade certain militia squads. In its original release state, this was limited to increasing squad size and adding Medics as squad members to Infantry, Commando, and Elite squads.
Meet the upgrade prerequisites, including standard Fallout 4 perks and a full settled population (100 settled population in all settlements will allow all upgrades). You can craft upgrade modules at the ChemStation, which will give you a misc that once activated will apply the upgrade to the next set of squads you call.
The squad has combat medics with a limited supply pool who can heal other squad members after combat. The doctor must be alive, supplied, and out of combat before you can order a cure. This can be accessed through the Health Status menu. Each medic has enough supplies to heal all team members twice during a mission.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
