About this mod Machine translation

Fixed CTD BUG thanks to THEFIRSTEND!

A simple modification that adds a standalone Minuteman paintjob to your game, as well as an optional blue rextexture match for the Minuteman jacket.

Please make sure you follow the steps below exactly to log out.

-Install-

Open the ZIP archive using the software of your choice

Extract the file "Minuteman_CB.esp" and the folders "Textures" and "Materials" to the Fallout 4 Data directory (default is C:\*, no matter what Steam*\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data is installed)

Then find your Fallout 4.ini (default is C:\Users\*yourusername*\Documents\My Games\Fallout4\Fallout4.ini) and find the following line:

sResourceDataDirsFinal = STRINGS \

Remove anything that appears after the "=", like this:

sResourceDataDirsFinal =

Then somewhere in the [Archive] section add:

bInvalidateOlderFiles = 1

Afterwards, you can enable the mod using your preferred mod manager, or manually add it to the plugin file (default is C:\Users\*yourusername*\AppData\Local\Fallout4\plugins)

If you want to use the optional jacket replacer, just take out the "Textures" folder from the -=OPTIONAL=- folder and move it to the Data directory, the same as before.

Once you're done editing, it's also a good idea to set Fallout4.ini to "read-only" so the game doesn't overwrite anything.

-ENDORMOON'S CCA VERSION-

This mod has an alternative version that works with Endormoon's Custom Combat Armors mod. Endormoon's mod adds separate categories for Combat Armor's Paint and Decal, so it no longer covers the Material section. I personally recommend this version of the mod.

Install CCA first, then install my mod. Finally, make sure my mod is lower than Endormoon's mod in the load order or your game will crash!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
