About this mod Machine translation
A complete combat suit including Gorka-4, Smersh AK suspenders, Alta knee pads and combat boots. Gorka-4 is used by climbers, hunters, fishermen and special forces. Provides adequate protection from wind and cold temperatures. The Smersh sling comes in several models, one of which is the AK model, designed specifically for carrying AK magazines.
detail
All meshes and textures were created by me in Blender and Substance Painter 2. The model comes in at 14,868 vertices/28,478 tris and all textures are 2048x2048.
There are 21 color schemes to choose from, including default colors. All color schemes provide a stealth bonus (reduced movement detection), but it depends on the color you choose.
Suit is ballistic knit compatible.
This suit can be crafted in any Chembench under "MILITARY GORKA SUIT".
None of the grids will be modular. Everything has been modeled to fit each other. Even if they weren't, they would be a problem for cuts and other attractions.
The same model is used for male and female characters. A gorka is a loose-fitting suit that looks good in any character.
compatibility
Nothing should conflict with this mod. They are added to the new project.
Known issues
The left sleeve may sometimes clip with the Pip-boy. Shrinking it will make it look weird on NPCs.
The knee straps are weirdly bent. The knee area is a bad place for any mesh unless it's continuous like pants. To avoid the metal plate bending like jelly, a heavier bone weight is applied to keep it rigid, but the band still has to bend with it.
The straps are weirdly curved. The bone weight is pretty inexcusable when loose mesh still works fine. They may stretch slightly when reloading, but that's at their best.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
