This mod brings the iconic Martini Henry ICI lever military rifle to the Commonwealth, with scratch models, textures, animations and sounds created for this mod.
Currently, this is a pre-release for the weapon. It's possible that it will be released again and more versions finalized.
This may be happening as I (original author SunnyDelight, the same below) are currently talking to Wardaddy about incorporating his Martini Henry model, which opens up a lot of avenues for the weapon in terms of modifications and caliber conversions.
First used in 1871, the Martini Henry was a breech-loading single-shot rifle that was widely used on most continents and had maintained its reputation for many years before its conception. Its original .577/450 Martini-Henry cartridge packs a real punch both at range and on the shoulders of those who shoot it, but it has been rechambered for the .308 cartridge more common in the Commonwealth.
This unnamed and rather experimental marking of the rifle was top secret and has not reached any battlefield until now.
At the end of World War I, the British attempted to adapt the rifle to various combat situations before it became obsolete. These modifications included a lengthened barrel, MK-II suppressor, and anti-aircraft iron sights, which ensured that the rifle would be useful in any situation, especially since it was so widely available on the planet. Welcome the Martini Henry into your arsenal, as it's a long, loaded power house.

While not required, I highly recommend reloading immediately using the manual reload tactic, it's simple and self-explanatory.
While I've implemented my own version of this by enabling the Gauss Rifle's charged reload on this weapon, I highly recommend using it for all purposes.
This means that Martini Henry does not automatically reload. Press R to reload...<3
This weapon includes my own version of a clear sight. Although not as clean and beautiful, I tried to create a "seamless" version of the STS, taking advantage of the full potential of BGEM and the Fresnel effect. This took a lot of testing, but I'm happy with the results, especially since it produces a fake refraction effect when zooming out on long ranges, and smooth transitions between ranged and non-ranged animations, and vice versa.
If you have questions, ask, if you want to know how to reverse engineer, I salute you. enjoy. . . But it's very cumbersome.
Since I included a Picatinny rail for the scope mount, I may consider adding more sights.
This weapon mod was created almost 2 years ago. I originally planned to implement this into Fallout New Vegas alongside Fallout 4, so you may notice that the polygon detail on the 3D model is lower, so I painstakingly recreated the textures to get the highest quality possible for the rifle.
You might also question why it has an anti-aircraft sight... Anyone who knows what a K round is will probably get a reference to what it is used for... other things.

Where/how to get it:
Found it at the Peabody house/resident, next to Quincy, with some modifications.

Alternatively, it is available in debug scope.

Near the workbench.
Or use the console command "helpmartini4" followed by player.additem... to generate the weapon and its modifications.
Since this weapon was intended for use in Fallout London and kicked quite a few punches, I didn't include the tiered list implementation...

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
