describe

A simple and lightweight mod that adds 6 new faction camouflages to the Far Harbor naval armor: Militia, Brotherhood of Steel, Research Institute, Railroad, Gunner and Enclave. Paint your parts onto the armor workbench. Requires 1 oil and 1 steel.

Because this mod relies on the RobCo Patcher, it leaves no original records untouched. This means it should be strictly compatible with other mods in your load order. It's also an ESL-tagged ESP, so it doesn't take up valuable space in your plugin restrictions.

renew:

v1.4.1: Re-encoded textures with compressor in BC7 in an attempt to fix crashing issues for some players.

v1.4: Provides BA2 compression and compilation materials for performance and adds FOMOD installer.

v1.3: Added an optional script to inject these paints into the world with the FOMOD installer.

v1.2: Texture improvements, should look better.

v1.2 replaced the ba2 files with scattered files. I don't know why, but when using the ba2 file, when I get close to the armor after playing around in the armor workbench, a "noise" texture appears. Does anyone know why?

v1.1: Added new gunner paint, and a "custom" paint. I'll add more later.

Suggestions or criticisms are welcome. Have fun!

Optionally, the mod will also add the following high-level NPCs wearing these faction-specific armors:

Brotherhood of Heavy Cavalry

Railroad Catalyst

Militia Cavalry

Academy Catastrophe

Lord Enclave

Gunner Captain Marine (suggestions for better names are welcome...)

However, since RobCo Patcher cannot add NPCs to the level list, this can only be done through a simple optional script. Now using the FOMOD installer.

Main features

Added 6 faction paints (militia, brotherhood, institute, railway, enclave, gunner) to the Far Harbor Marine armor.

Zero-vanilla editing: maintain maximum compatibility with your load order.

ESL-tagged ESP: Does not count against standard plug-in limits.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
