About this mod Machine translation
Ahem...so this is a mod that allows you to play as a vanilla kid, it's simple and shouldn't be hard to get started.
In order to play as a kid, you need to get into the character creation thing, and once you're there you'll have to choose some presets. There are only 3 for girls and 10 for boys, so they all look the same anyway, so it doesn't matter, you can only change the color of your hair after you pick one.
Edit: As of now you can change hair, eyebrows, eyes, weight, skin tone and extra. However, this is only true if you are found to be an adult, if you are not you will have limited options. setrace human then slm 14 then setrace humanchild or ghoulchild.
So when you are done with your character exit character creation and open the console and click on yourself, depending on the race you selected you will need to type "setrace humanchild" or "setrace ghoulchild" and then your head should look normal with your body. Due to the size of your head, you cannot wear any headgear or hairstyles that are not made for children, and enter "setscale 0.825" in your own console.
Ghoul children are immune to ambient radiation, but if you eat anything containing radiation it will take effect.
TL; DR -
Select a preset
Pick a hair color
End character creation
Type setrace humanchild or ghoulchild
Batch file that inputs some clothes
Enter Setscale 0.825??????
profit.
Once all of this is done, you can play your little "innocent" child. The camera adjusts to your size and adult voices will stay playing so you can hear them in your child's body.
You can install it using the Mod Manager or I prefer using the Fallout 4 Mod Manager. orrrrrrrrrrr manual. Place esp in data folder and edit Plugin.txt place Playable Children.esp and Children Presets.esp in list and save it as read only. Plugin.txt should be in C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Fallout4
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
