- "Object" is revised to "object" for easier understanding;
- In the management options menu of a single resident, "Unassigned" is modified to "Cancel current assignment";
- In the management options menu of a single object, "Unassigned residents" is revised to "Cancel current assignment"; 5. The text "No role is required" is revised to "No assignment required";
- The text "No options are selected" is corrected to "No objects can be selected";
Re-download the Chinese version of the file and overwrite the original one.
I have been using this MOD and translated it myself. I saw a friend posted a post looking for the Chinese translation, so I polished it and shared it.
Introduction to functions in N network:
You can implement the following functions on a terminal anywhere:
- View settlement statistics;
- Manage all your settlements anytime, anywhere;
- Mark unassigned residents/providers/settlement spawn points;
- Move residents to other settlements/assign jobs/assign supply lines/assign objects;
- Display the synths in the settlement (need to turn on cheat mode in "Settings");
- List all workshop objects in the settlement (including beds, workbenches, defense turrets, plants, water towers, recruitment antennas, etc...);
- Mark unassigned workshop objects;
- You can clear the supply lines of the current settlement with one click so that you can reset them;
- Manually trigger an attack and defense battle for a designated settlement (experimental feature).
How to use:
After installation, enter the game. There will be an "SMS Settlement Management System Holographic Cassette" in your backpack. You can load it with the terminal and use it. For newly opened archives, please activate this MOD after exiting Shelter 111. Because you don't have an inventory before you get Pip-Boy, the cartridge cannot be placed on you correctly. Install the English version first, and then overwrite it with the Chinese esp file.
Known issues announced by the author:
- Data is inconsistent.
You can select "Task" - "Refresh Workshop Data".
- The data is still inconsistent.
You can go to that settlement and then press the V key to turn on the workshop mode.
- This software cannot be used normally on PipBoy.
The game itself has limitations and cannot be solved. It is recommended to use a terminal.
Problems I found during use:
- The name of the robot manufactured on the robot workbench cannot be displayed normally in the software, but it does not affect the operation.
- The names of some objects cannot be displayed and are displayed as half brackets.
- To add, "suppliers" are residents classified as "unassigned". For example, if you have 8 residents, all assigned jobs, and one of them is a supplier, then the tool will show that there is 1 unassigned resident. Unless the settlement has no providers, there will be at least 1 unassigned resident number shown in the statistics list.
- In outdoor terminals, object data is often out of sync, so it is recommended to use terminals inside settlements.
Use experience:
This MOD can be regarded as a supplementary version of "Please Don't Call Me Resident", and the operation is more detailed and specific.
The functions I often use are:
- Mark the monster spawning point. After opening a new site, you will find out where the monster spawning points are and how to repair the houses, and you will have a good idea of your psychology.
- Remove/assign supply lines.
- Trigger the attack. Verify whether your stronghold defense system is complete.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
