This mod makes most 'universal' NPCs female. So, for example, when new settlers are recruited, most, if not all, should be women. Or when taking on some raiders or gunmen, most should be women. Currently affects settlers, farmers, scavengers, raiders, gunmen, militia, brotherhood, etc.
NOTE: This mod should not affect any existing NPCs. So your current settlers will remain unchanged (probably). This mod will take effect when recruiting new settlers. The same goes for Raiders, Gunners, etc. Only newly generated NPCs will take effect. Ah, scratch that. The mod now makes your existing NPCs female.
Optional files
Optional files should not be used together with the main file! Optional files are available where you can choose which NPCs you want to be female, but they do not apply to the main file which is also installed. If you choose to use the optional files, do not install the main files.

This mod is still a work in progress! Many generic NPCs are now female with this mod, but definitely not all! At least not yet... ;)
compatibility
In terms of comparability, this mod may conflict with other mods that change "generic" NPC preferences.
Thom293 added compatibility patch for Better Settlers mod! - 'MostlyFemale' and 'BetterSettlers' must be appended to the load order. Not yet compatible with Mortal Settlers' BetSetMortalPatch patch.
Install
It is recommended to use Mod Manager for installation/uninstallation.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
