Mad Max's take on the post-apocalypse is very different from Fallout's version, but they also have a lot in common. While this mod draws a lot of inspiration from the Mad Max series, none of the costumes are replicas of the originals and have been modified to better fit Fallout 4's aesthetic.
I'd also like to add more to this mod, so if anyone wants to see any costumes or trinkets from Mad Max here, or if they just want more texture options for existing items, feel free to make suggestions. I won't say "yes" to everything, but I'm open to suggestions.
This only works on vanilla body. If anyone wants to make a patch to convert it to CBBE, they have my permission, but this mod is not compatible with body replacement without a patch.
In this harsh and unforgiving wasteland, you dress for the occasion, with what little you manage to keep for yourself. All of these clothes and accessories can be crafted at the Chemistry Station and improved with Ballistic Weaving.

Big thanks to the team behind Outfit Studio, because without it this mod wouldn't exist. Big thanks to everyone who made Creation Kit tutorials on YouTube because Creation Kit is really confusing when you're just starting out
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
