About this mod Machine translation
The best heavy weapon just got better, with two new contenders joining the fray. Skibadaa's machine gun; reborn!
Machine Gun: Rebirth by Skibadaa
Considered by many to be my signature work, the Mk22 and Mk19 remain the only heavy machine guns on Nexium to attempt to use the machine gun animation set. Since then, few complete heavy machine guns have come, and if no one else has the determination to expand the heavy arsenal, it will come back to me to show the way.
This is rebirth.
Both classic machine guns have now been rescued and resurrected, along with two brand new weapons to boot:
All new textures created in Substance.
All new meshes were rebuilt from scratch in 3dsMax, with custom working collisions and physics.
All new plugins are in esl and esp formats and can be used according to your preference.
All new scripts LList injected to add weapons to vendors and select enemies.
All new weapon instances placed in world space for you to discover.
All included in the BA2 archive, no more loose files!
The Machine Gun Reborn is my machine gun that reaches its full potential.
content:
WH-Mk22 heavy machine gun
WH-Mk19 "Shrike" general machine gun
Anti-aircraft gun Mk1
Western Technology AGL-40 grenade launcher
Future plans for this mod:
v1.0 does not include any additional skins or turrets, which will be introduced in v1.1. I decided that rather than keep everyone waiting,
A few weeks, might as well unleash what I have, 4 fully functional weapons. Aside from these omissions, the mod is very feature-complete. So, v1.1 will be the main update before moving on to other content.
Install:
- Make sure your game is set up to play mods (save files expire) and that your Fallout 4 installation is updated to the latest version.
- Download the main file.
- Install using the mod manager of your choice, or extract the contents of the master file into the Fallout 4 "data" directory.
- Activate "Skb_MachinegunsRebirth.esl" in the load sequence.
- Load the game.
- Either enter the game and shoot fools, or sit back and be fools.
There is a Settings Holotape, added to your inventory when first loading (and can be crafted at the Chemistry Workbench), which has a
Option to spawn weapons directly to your players, you can use this option as many times as you want.
All weapons have optional scripted LList integration that can be activated from the setup holotape. If activated, you will discover all weapons and ammunition for vendors and enemies in the world. There are several other places in the world where each weapon can be found and looted, these locations are:
National Guard Barracks Armory: Mk19 on a shelf near the PA frame
GNR Building: Mk19 in lobby, Mk22 in basement.
Federal ration reserves: anti-aircraft guns inside.
Listening Post Bravo: The anti-aircraft gun is on the basement level, in the second room.
Federal Surveillance Center K-21B: Mk22, AGL, both located on the ground floor near the PA frame.
As of v1.1, there are now workshop turret versions of all weapons, as well as a new option in the holotape to add enemy Mk19 and Mk22 turrets to the world. Enemy turret generation starts at level 10 for the Mk19 and level 20 for the Mk22
The packaged ESL body and the redo big package compatible patch are uploaded together (if the patch is not used, the big package version will be generated instead of the reborn version of heavy weapons)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
