M9 independent pistol

This model is credited to a talented member of our own community, and I think they deserve our unabashed appreciation. 3D modeling student and member moniterman contacted me without a second thought to give me access to his stunning Beretta M9 models and textures. Then he even allowed me to butcher his beautiful creation for this mod, the result of which you see here!

The committee was tasked with finding a replacement for the common 10mm service personal side arm. The heavy weight, bulky nature and unusual ammunition are all issues that need to be addressed. We found that upon closer consideration, the M9 was 10mm better in all aspects.

Based on a design developed by the MPPK project (codename: Deliverer), the M9 retains powerful semi-automatic and fully automatic modes while being 38% lighter and reducing jams and downtime by 45%. With its advanced receiver material, the pistol can use the more common .38 round while achieving ballistics similar to the 10mm. Finally, the frame is highly modular, allowing for a variety of barrel, grip and muzzle configurations.

In summary, the committee recommended the full adoption of Type 9 pistols.

For my third mod I thought I'd try something a little different. The M9 is once again the culmination of everything learned so far from the R91 and AK2047. This should be the most proficient of these mods.

As mentioned above, my moniterman provided the models and textures, for which I can't thank you enough. From there I tweaked the model of the gun and adjusted the features. Custom models and textures are accompanied by fully functional animations. The M9 comes with many modifications; handlebars, gutter, silencer and 3 barrel type. There are various receivers available for both semi-automatic and fully automatic. More mods are coming soon.

The gun is currently not found in the wasteland, it must be spawned via the console. This will also be added soon. There was a small issue with the models in the workbench; they seemed to be missing triangles, but this was fixed once off the workbench. I'm trying to solve this problem.

Install

I recommend using NMM to install, but you can install manually by placing the folder with the .esp into \Data. Please make sure you have made the correct .INI edits.

Can be generated in the console by looking for the item ID [help m9 4] then [player.additem {Item ID}]
