I've built a Complex Sorter for the prepared Item Sort that comes with FallUI. Some users have asked for scripts. So here it is! At the same time, it's growing... Now, you can customize anything. Just look at the screenshots and you will know.

describe
Added item sorting tags to all items in all mods (vanilla and download). You no longer need endless project classification patch files, just one. There are also internal plugins that perform various other tasks such as weightless items, adding body slot numbers, patch recipes that can be used on specific workbenches...
The default configuration will create an ESP exactly like the one in the "FallUI Item Sorter Mod" package, but containing all items from all mods!
Just lean back and let the script do the work.
IMPORTANT: Requires FO4Edit
If you don't know F04Edit, and you have no intention of learning more about mods for Fallout 4, this mod may not be for you.
This script is highly automated, but you still need to start it.
If you just want a ready-made package, just install FIS in lightweight or basic mode - The New FallUI Item Sorter!
Supported item sorters
Complex Sorter can automatically generate item sorting patches for the following item sorters:
FIS - New FallUI project sorter (FIS2)
(Old) FallUI Project Sorter (FIS1)
VIS-G type
horizon
Compatible with Ruddy88
feature
All the good stuff you know from Ruddy88’s Simple Sorter
Automatically tag all items in loaded ESP, create patched ESP with all items in game configuration
Can be re-executed at any time for new mod settings
Automatically add component labels
Language-agnostic (use game language for all generated files - includes automatic translation of Ruddy88s INNR rules)
Completely customizable dynamic processing rules - you can change everything, starting with filters, changing classification rules, all the way to the final set of tags.
Allows easy addition of individual custom mod handling rules. If the automatic detection misses some items - just add a processing rule to fix it!
Includes graphical processing rule editor with new-rule-assistant. Just click on your perfect tag!
You can define rules globally for all records or just for a specific mod. The rules are dealt with in a simple and intuitive order: mod-specific rules first, then global rules. Additionally, all rules you define have higher priority than standard rules, so you can adjust everything to fit your mod list.
plug-in
Plugins can change almost everything, from injecting processing rules to modifying record fields via complex control scripts.
These plugins have their own user settings that you can simply define in a single line in the plugin file. The user can then use this setting in the main GUI. Available setting types: bool, int, float, string
Plugins can have complex scripts, which allow almost any possible operation to be performed on records. For more details, check out the "Documentation: Plugin System" topic on this page. …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
