About this mod Machine translation

+++ +++Instructions

This mod adds the standalone OTs-02 "Kiparis" submachine gun and modifies it in the game. It comes with custom sounds and full level list integration via scripting. As such, it can be found in random containers, vendors, and enemy wastelands.

+++Compatibility+++

This mod should not conflict with any other mods. However, if there are any texture conflicts when installing, especially within the M3D_Shared folder, it feels more than free to override or ignore as these are the same textures shared across various weapons.

+++Known issues+++

Since the weapon has a custom idle pose, it currently breaks the killing motion of the weapon itself. There is no known workaround, but we will revisit this issue if a fix becomes available. We feel that custom animations for weapons are worth killing the movement animation bug.

The weapon currently doesn't have any custom third person animations, so being suitable for third person isn't the best option. We don't currently have any plans for custom 3rd person animations, but if anyone wants to use custom 3p animations I'd be happy to include them.

+++Installation+++

Extract the contents of the archive using NMM or in the Fallout 4/Data folder. If installing manually, just check the plugin in the mod manager of your choice.

+++Uninstall+++

Delete the archived contents from the Data folder.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
